No Longer Paralysed by Fear, Jen Roehrig

No Longer Paralysed by Fear, Jen Roehrig

This week I’m talking with brand new graduate (in her 40s), Jen Roehrig.

Jen was pursuing her first second chapter when a freak occurance left her unable to walk. After struggling with her mental health and feelings of fragility for nearly a decade, Jen decided at 40 that it was time to pursue her long-term dream of acting.

With an integrated masters degree in drama performance and touring theatre under her belt, Jen is now ready to take on the world- and in true The Second Chapter style, hopes to encourage other women over 35 to pursue their own dreams.

You can find Jen on Twitter – @jen_roehrig, YouTube – Just GabbyElla, Facebook – @jrtheatreproductions, website -https://jrtheatreproductions.wordpress.com

On The Second Chapter, serial careerist and founder of Slackline Productions, Kristin Duffy, chats with women who started the second (or third… or fifth!) chapter in their careers and lives, after 35. You’ll find inspiring stories, have a few laughs, and maybe even be motivated to turn the page on your own second chapter!

Of course we’d love to hear what you think- and if you love the show, please leave us a 5-star rating and review on podchaser or Apple podcasts.
