This week I have not one, but two, amazing guests, Babs and Laura Horton. When first woman and first playwright Plymouth Laureate, Laura Horton, tweeted that her mum’s first play was premiering on a Tuesday with Laura’s on less than a week later — in the same theatre! — I knew I wanted to hear their stories. There were a lot of firsts to ask about!
What I discovered was a powerhouse creative duo, both with big changes after 35. It really does run in the family. This is Babs and Laura Horton!
