Thanks for your interest! We are no longer accepting submissions but please follow @slacklineproductions on Instagram for updates on future projects.
Slackline Productions, in association with producer Lara Kozah and additional collaborators, is seeking short film screenplays that can be shot in one day.
We will be choosing two scripts to be made into short films in early 2026. This is an unpaid project for everyone involved, to expand on our CVs/showreels and to keep making creative work. The films will be shot by experienced crew, with experienced directors and producer at the helm.
Please do not submit if you’re not happy with these terms!
Deadline: 25th October, 11:59pm or until we receive 100 scripts
Application form – click here! (If you see an error message, open in an external browser)
We are looking for:
- screenplay format
- maximum/roughly five pages
- minimal characters (ideally 2-3)
- minimal locations – 1-2 max. We can get creative but keep in mind this is zero-budget!
- any genre(s) but we love the unexpected!
- blind submissions (please keep your name off the script to keep things fair)
Because this isn’t solely a Slackline project, a strong woman character 35+ isn’t a requirement, but underrepresented characters and marginalised genders are welcome and encouraged.
We will be shortlisting scripts and announcing by the end of November and will be announcing final choices in late December.
Actors, stay tuned for casting calls once final script choices have been made, but please refrain from applying prior to our official casting call.
We repeat applications close on 25th October or once we received 100 scripts, so get applying!
