With a script by Euan Mumford, chosen through The Delilah Project, The Dinner Plan is produced by Lara Kozah and Slackline Productions.

Please note: The Dinner Plan is a zero-budget production, seeking actors for a two-day shoot on a voluntary basis.

Shoot dates: 28th and 29th March 2026

ROLES

ALEX (F, 40-50, any appearance)
With art gallery owner vibes, Alex is Catherine O’Hara in Beetlejuice meets Moira from Schitt’s Creek’s less-gregarious younger sister.
Despite being outwardly successful and confident, Alex’s life of all work and no play has caught up with her, leaving her lonely.

SAM (M/NB 30-40, any appearance)
If Alex gives Moira, Sam definitely gives David.
Dry, deadpan with a touch of camp, Sam tries to play tough, but he’s lonely, too. And on top of that, nights out in the pub seeking friendship have given him a low-key drinking problem.

ROBIN (F, late 20s/early 30s, any appearance)
Aubrey Plaza meets Ennui from Inside Out 2 with a dash of Margot Tenenbaum, Robin’s eccentric exterior (she wears a werewolf mask to go outside, after all) hides a sensitive soul.
Like the others, she’s lonely and she thinks she can’t talk to people, but Alex and Sam prove her wrong.
